Last year's dominant in the 400m hurdles, Femke Bol, is ready for the BAUHAUS-gala. It is also the silver medalist from the World Championships, Shamier Little, and Rushell Clayton who took bronze.
It is not only in the men's race that there is a high-class starting field. The women's race has the potential to be at least as fast. With last year's 51.45, Femke Bol is currently ranked second all-time behind Sidney McLaughlin Levrone.
Already last winter, she showed that the form from last year holds when she broke her own world record in the 400m. She also followed up the success from Budapest by taking double gold at the indoor World Championship in Glasgow.
At the BAUHAUS-gala, however, she will not be the only World Championship medalist. Shamier Little, who is ranked fifth all time, will also start. She set her 52.39 at Stockholm Stadion three years ago.
The third place from the WC final will also come to Stockholm on June 2. Rushell Clayton is double World Championship medalist with a bronze from last summer and one from 2019. With her 52.81 as a personal best, she places herself just outside the top ten all time.
Behind these giants also comes Swedish Moa Granath. Last year she won Junior European Championship Gold in Jerusalem and made it into the top ten all-time list in Sweden in the 400m hurdles. As a 19-year-old, she also made her debut at the World Championship in Budapest.
In addition to these, the Olympic medalist in the relay, Janieve Russel, will also start. So does it Italian record holder Ayomide Folorunso and former junior world champion Anna Cockrell.
